Things that I would like to do over the next few months:
1. Go to Oktoberfest...for good beer and good German folk music
2. Take a fall canyon drive...because no place on earth is prettier than Salt Lake in the fall
3. Hike Mt. Olympus...because it didn't happen this summer
4. Meet Jack...and learn how to comfortably hold an infant
5. Go to a haunted house or corn maze...just for the hell of it
6. Carve a pumpkin...to fulfill the sick pleasure I get in squishing my fingers through pumpkin innards
7. Make apple pie...because I've never done it before
8. Have a fall bonfire...complete with blankets, scarves, s'mores, and hot chocolate.
Who's with me?!

Haha, thank you for the comment on my blog...it really has been a long time, hasn't it?! I am a fan of your list, I think I am going to do them all also, minus the apple pie part. Not a fan. Maybe pumpkin? Mmmm...
Ooooh...pumpkin pie sounds good, also. Maybe we could have a Cottonwood reunion of sorts for some of these activities.
I feel confident that I can take care of three of these items in the next week. (#1, #3, and #4). Seriously though, its time to do Mt. Olympus. How does next Sunday sound? We could do Oktoberfest on Saturday?
Anyway I'm down for all of them, lets get to planning!
Also...you should see Portland in fall, it is UNBELIEVABLE.
I'll do 1-4 fo sho. 5 if its a haunted house, not corn maze (LAME), and 8 as long as I can make the fire and snuggle with lindsay b
I'm sure it's very pretty, Linds, but I'm skeptical that it surpasses Utah.
We will get started soon! How about the weekend after next for Oktoberfest and Olympus?
Andy, I have a counteroffer for you: You can make the fire and snuggle with Linds, but only if I get to cuddle with you guys, too. Don't look at me that way. I needs me a good cuddle every now and then.
Andy, you're gay. I want to make the fire and poke it with sticks. I also want to bring Brian. Also, Portland is way better than SLC in the fall.
I'm sooo with you on almost everything. (i'll give you 3 guesses).
ya know, i've been wanting to go to a corn maze from the day i was born and it has STILL never happened. something tells me, it will be awhile until it does. tell me if it lives up to all the hype!
Well, I probably won't be going to one either since Andy informed me of their lameness. They sound exciting, though. Maybe next year you and I can go.
Firstly, I can't believe I'm being called gay by a 30+ year old guy that lives by himself and bakes cookies.
Secondly, trust me, corn mazes are lame. They will not live up to all the hype.
Thirdly, counter-offer accepted. Though I think you have some Barnetts worried (Lindsay included) that you are trying to become my second wife. Just a heads up.
Andy, I don't think you're gay. You're far too rugged...I'm sure you could make a bigger, more powerful, hotter fire than Greg could any day.
And who cares if I want to be your second wife? It's the Utah way.
i'm with you!!!
...if only i was actually with you...*sigh* if only...
I would make the hottest fire EVER. I challenge Andy to a fire making contest.
