Hooked

One perk of having summers off, is that I have a lot more time to visit friends in faraway places.  Okay, I guess Provo isn't THAT far, but it does take some time to get there.

Today I took the 45 minute trip to Provo to spend some time with my friend, Libby.  We ate burgers, played with her little boy, and honed our skills at a new hobby.

Hopefully in a couple of weeks I'll be the proud creator of a stylish new scarf.

I had sooo much fun!! You should see the hilarious misshapen flower I tried to wing this morning. I had a good laugh and then promptly unraveled it... but I have hope for the future.

Can't wait to see your finished scarf!!

I can't believe there is nothing specifically about flowers in my book!

I had so much fun, too! I'm pretty confident that the scarf will be done by the time I go to Phoenix. Like I'll need it there!

It's such a great hobby, Jenny. Plus, once you get started, the projects really don't take very long. You should learn!
